The Mayonnaise Jar ~ something worth to share

Image
When things in your life seem , almost too much to handle, When 24 Hours in a day is not enough, Remember the mayonnaise jar and 2 cups of coffee. A professor stood before his philosophy class And had some items in front of him. When the class began, wordlessly, He picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with golf balls. He then asked the students, if the jar was full. They agreed that it was. The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar. He shook the jar lightly. The pebbles rolled into the open Areas between the golf balls. He then asked the students again if the jar was full. They agreed it was. The professor next picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar. Of course, the sand filled up everything else. He asked once more if the jar was full. The students responded with a unanimous 'yes.' The professor then produced two cups of coffee from under the table and poured the entire con

What a Negative Behavior ><

I saw my foundation lecturer today in UTAR cafeteria library, with a student whom also a foundation friend (though we seldom interact ><). Me and my friends were wondering whether we should greet our lecturer. We were so afraid that he may have forgotten about us since it has already been 2 years we never see him (ever since we have moved to Kampar), especially after "the" incident that happened on the very last day he ever taught us. We were even more afraid that he might cast us a confused look if we did greet him. Deep inside my heart, I'm feeling guilty for not greeting him today. When I recalled, why on earth that I have been thinking too much? Why do I have to be so afraid off all these small tiny matter? Why I can't even do a simple thing? Just go and greet him, big deal, huh? What a total loser >< Hopefully will bump into him again in the future and I'm going to greet him.

New Records - Having 2 consecutive sleepless days T_T

This is the my third experiences for staying up late until 6.30 am (fri) and 4.30 am (sat) in order to complete the Neurobiology poster presentation in week 13. The last time i did the same thing when i was in Form 3 in order to complete my Geography Folio and during foundation for web page design. On the first night, i went to Wei Wei's house to construct the poster. Both of us started doing it around 8.30 pm. First, we read all the compiled information from our group members. Honestly, there are one whole big chunk of information. Both of us were having a hard time editing and simplifying the information. I wondering how Kai Yein (beloved group leader =P) can manage to edit it for a few times some more (GENG!!!)!!! After long hours of editing (around 3.00 am), we finally proceeded to stuff in all edited information. This is where the most headache brain-raking part. T_T. After long hours of struggling to organize the information into the AO size poster, we managed to come out

Finally! my laptop Compaq Presario v3000 was officially "brain dead" by yesterday March 28th 2010. Why do i refer it as "brain dead"? this is because other than the "no display" problem, the rest of the functions are fine! =.=!!! I bought this laptop at a Pc shop named "Poposomo", cute name, huh? , which is located beside vegetarian shop at Kampar, eastlake. I still remembered when was the last time i used my old laptop. It was on Thursday!! I remembered that time i was writing my Molecular Biology report references and i just left a few minutes to finish it before i got to go to campus. i remembered i wrote until the 3rd reference, and thought of continuing the rest after my lecture class ended at 7.00 pm. Little did i know that it was the last time i'm going to use my old laptop. when i went home after 7.00pm, changed my clothes and turned on my laptop ( while eating dinner =P). As usual, there will be no display for the first time i t

A Good Lecturer-How?

Just went to peep into one of my foundation lecturer's blog which he created it just to vent out his feeling towards his nowadays students. After reading his blog, I feel kind of bad for him actually. Well, he was my biology lecturer, and tutor during foundation. If anything related to Biology, it has definitely has something to do with him. =) I still remember that I actually feel scared to attend his lecture. Mind you, not HATE but S-C-A-R-E-D ! Why? Because I was so afraid that I might fall asleep during his lecture. Can't say that he is a bad lecturer (it depends how you define it =)), it just that I feel so sleepy whenever I was in his lecture. Sleepy? Why? I can say that my sleepiness is definitely not due to having insufficient sleep in the previous night and I don't think it is his fault either (at least not 100%). I think it is more to the study environment and the way a lecturer conduct his lecture. Come and think of it, students are confined in an extremely cold
