New Records - Having 2 consecutive sleepless days T_T
This is the my third experiences for staying up late until 6.30 am (fri) and 4.30 am (sat) in order to complete the Neurobiology poster presentation in week 13. The last time i did the same thing when i was in Form 3 in order to complete my Geography Folio and during foundation for web page design.
On the first night, i went to Wei Wei's house to construct the poster. Both of us started doing it around 8.30 pm. First, we read all the compiled information from our group members. Honestly, there are one whole big chunk of information. Both of us were having a hard time editing and simplifying the information. I wondering how Kai Yein (beloved group leader =P) can manage to edit it for a few times some more (GENG!!!)!!! After long hours of editing (around 3.00 am), we finally proceeded to stuff in all edited information. This is where the most headache brain-raking part. T_T. After long hours of struggling to organize the information into the AO size poster, we managed to come out with the draft. Yea, only the draft at the moment. Thanks to the weird programming of Ms Powerpoint. Both of us were having trouble to insert table form information into powerpoint format. The programming somehow does not allow us to directly copy and paste the tables from Ms Word to Ms powerpoint. "Zhong for"!!!!. >< style="font-style: italic;">we need to teach them how to do it. Of course we will suffer more without their help=P. Once the draft was completed, we hastily sent it to the rest of the group members. (can't wait to show our hard work LOL). By the time we finished it, it's already 6.30 am. Both of us hang out for a while in Facebook before going to sleep (at 6.30 am? Weird LOL). We found a video posted by Kyan which is a song dedicated to UTAR. Surprisingly, it was a very nice piece of music. It sounds more like a recorded music from a studio.
Yesterday was my second day to have my sleepless night. It was the night for designing the poster which include putting in colors, fonts, background template, and inserting images. Since the on the first day, wei wei has been clicking her laptop and moving her mouse until the mouse also go kaput (you never see her banging her mouse on the floor. WAHAHAHAHA). i think it will be fair if this time i'm the one to design the poster. well, i started to take this offer when i thought it will only take around 2-3 hours to finish it since the organization of the poster already being completed on the first day. ARGH!! I was wrong AGAIN. i took me 5-6 hours to complete it, man. ><>
