The Living Dead

Zombie --> soulless flesh-eater, related to Voodoo
Vampire--> reanimated only blood-thirsty corpse from the grave
Dracula --> name of a Vampire--Count Dracula (from what i know) lol
I grow up watching Chinese vampire movies and Mr. Vampire is my favorite. You might have heard of it. Mainly starred by Lam Ching Ying as the exorcist.
My current favorite is walking zombie. As i have mentioned before, i read about it once from a manga, then i watched it from Hong Kong film and recently United States has came out with a television series about walking zombies entitled
"The walking Dead"
The Walking Dead tells the story of the aftermath of a zombie apocalypse; it follows a small group of survivors traveling across the desolate United States in search of a new home away from the shuffling hordes of the undead. The group is led by Rick Grimes, who was a King County, Georgia sheriff's deputy in the old world. As their situation grows more and more grim, the group's desperation to survive pushes them to the brink of insanity. At every turn they are faced with unspeakable horrors, both from those who are dead, and from the scattered remains of a struggling human populace
As my interest towards blood-thirsty zombies keeps on growing, i have found out that American has released a quite number of walking zombie films in a few years back. Fascinating, huh?
What i have found out is, all the films are either directed or written by the same person; George A. Romero and the title of the film usually end with "Dead". Interesting discovery, huh?
The following are the films that i have mentioned earlier which is solely based on what i have found from internet database at the moment. Feel free to add in if you have additional information. XD
"Night of the Living Dead"
The film follows Ben (Duane Jones), Barbra (Judith O'Dea), and five others, who are trapped in a rural farmhouse in Pennsylvania and attempt to survive the night while the house is being attacked by mysteriously reanimated ghouls, otherwise known as zombies
"Diary of the Dead"
Diary of the Dead follows a band of people making a horror film at the time of the first outbreak who decide to record the epidemic incident documentary-style and end up themselves being chased down by zombies.
"Day of the Dead"
When a small Colorado town is overrun by the flesh hungry dead a small group of survivors try to escape in a last ditch effort to stay alive.
