Movie Review

Just finished all the "Living Dead" movies that I have mentioned earlier. Don't ask me how long I took to finish them all. Trust me, you don't want to know it. XD

Now, I'm going to share my review for each movie. Let's get started with:

• Night of the Living Dead (1990)
  

  -Story got started when a brother and sister went to visit their dead mother cemetery.
  

  -Reason for the outbreak of "Living Dead" is unknown.
  

  -The costumes and styles are no doubt giving you the feeling of 90's century;
  

  -The "Living Dead" make ups and props look synthetic but still enough to scare you off;
  

  -"They" move by staggering to the victims (food source), which means you can outrun them easily.
  

  -They are highly persistent to their prey and once they have their eyes on you, they will follow you FOREVER.
  

  - Despite their slow and weakling movements, they seem strong enough to break open windows and doors.
  

  - Once the victims get bitten, they will transform into another "Living Dead". Highly infectious! Beware!
  

  - Lost their humanity and only feed on human and animal flesh.
  

  - Gunshot or heavy stab to their head will kill them.
  

  -When the film near end, it shows scenes where some of the living humans treat the "Living Dead" as toys.
  

  -Story ends with the burning of the corpses of dead "Living Dead"à
  Really died this time.

• Diary of the Dead (2007)
  

  -Story got started when a group of university students decided to film a documentary about a mass killing by the "Living Dead".
  

  -Geographical area expanded. even Tokyo is affected
  

  -Unknown reason for the outbreak.
  

  -Make ups and props improved. à
  They look real XD
  

  -Retain most of their specific characteristics as in the previous movie.
  

  -Story ends with one of the survivors questioning herself whether human race are worth saving as she saw how brutally the hunters torture the "Living Dead". à
  Strong moral value being implied.
  

  -No conclusive ending whether human being actually survived from the "Living Dead".

• Day of the Dead (2008)
  

  -Military and doctors involved in this film.
  

  -Only small town is being affected.
  

  -Reason of the outbreak is mentioned: Humans are infected with flu-like mutated viruses (biological weapon to arrest enemies' nervous systems for a couple of hours) and eventually turn them into "Living Dead".
  

  -Lots of changes have been made compared to previous movies. They have evolved!
  

  -Computer-generated effect is being applied.
  

  - They look more horrible and terrifyingà
  As if you will have no chance to survive if you bump into them.
  

  -They no longer stagger to their prey;
  

  - they move very fast once they spot on you; à
  you no longer can outrun them.
  

  -Some can even crawl on the wall like a lizard and hiss like a snake;
  

  - Some can retain their old personality and intelligenceà
  Know how to use riffles and one of them is smarter (the infected scientist who actually created the virus);
  

  -Romance between a survivor and the "Living Dead" is being introduced.
  

  -Kill off by heavy stab and gunshot to the head and explosion.
  

  -Story ends with the news of the virus of "Living Dead" is contained and the residents are allowed to return home after there are no more outbreak of "Living Dead" in a few more days.
