Presentation attire = Dressing out for Pasar Malam?
Today, me and my classmates are going to have out final presentation for this semester. Previously, we have done with "pengajian malaysia" and "metabolic biochemistry" presentations. we have been doing really well for the first two presentations and supposedly, today presentation should not be excepted as well. however....something bad or i should say humiliating happened. here the story goes.....
when it was our turned to present, the very first question our tutor asked was "are you guys dressing for pasar malam?" well, let me remind you that our tutor is sort of a funny guy. he loves to joke and almost 90% whatever come out from him can't be taken seriously. when he said that, i thought he was joking; trying to calm us down or geting rid of our nervousness or whatsoever. however, when he repeated his question, we knew he was no joking. he really meant it! OMG! our members were like.."huh?" "we are wearing formal clothes, what's wrong?" now we know what he was trying to say. he said that our attires aren't attractive enough o_O! compared to other classmates. yea, perhaps he is true. we are really lacking a bit compared to other classmates. * i guess he was indirectly telling us that, "you girls are not pretty enough..and please dress beautifully next time ..lol..=0" *nevertheles, these are what we wore for our previous presentations and so far none of the lecturers have commentted about it. urgh...it was embarassing!!! the whole class roared to laughter once he said that we were dressing for pasar malam *coincidently, there is pasar malam tonight, BUT, can't go lor*
we kind of did quite badly for the rest of our group's presentation *can't reach the usual standard =(" i almost screwed up my part when i nearly forget my speech. first time i referred to my notes (very seldom actually).. urgh....and i stuttered for a few times (very seldom to happen though i'm wearing braces). argh..i guess we all were distracted! never thought we end our final presentation in this way lol....
p/s: really have to shop for new clothes lol ...waste money lar. i thought of buying a new one if only if the old one has tore out. haiz...
