Home-made pancake XD

Have been discussing with Banana how to make a home-made pancake during our journey to IJN (INSTITUT JANTUNG NEGARA) from Kampar yesterday. You see, it was a 2 and a half hour journey together with growling stomachs. Therefore, You will easily thought about food. Ever since a few days ago, i started to feel tired of eating biscuits.Surprise, isn't it? The reason might be due to the fact that i couldn't afford to buy those biscuits that i love to eat, therefore i opt for those which are cheaper and with a typical taste. You might be wondering why don't i try to eat something else, chocolate or chips, perhaps? Well, i'm the kind who love to eat anything made from flour and and whitish in color. I know, this statement is very contradict to a person who is currently dying to shave off some fats. Therefore, bread, steamed bun (Mantou) with or without flavor are my favorites.
From the conversation, little did i know that, it's actually very easy to make a pancake. All you need are:
  • Wheat flour
  • Low-fat milk
  • Egg
  • Banana * for taste
* it could be any fruit that you like

Those are the main ingredients and the list can go on as long as you want based on your personal preference.

My first experience to make a pancake is not so bad. Lol, basically you just need to mix all the ingredients into a bowl and turn them into barter. No big deal. =.=||

My main problem is during the cooking part. When i tried to cook the barter, I have no clue how many scoops i need. So i have decided to pour all the barter into the pan ONE SHOT. *yat liu bat liu* Second, i don't know when i should flip the pancake. Ended up, i just follow the one and my only women intuition =.=||. Unfortunately, it turned out bad. i can't flip the pancake as if it's glued on the pan. Weird, i thought i'm using a non-sticky pan. >< Anyway, i just flip it to the other side, forcefully, of course.

However, it tasted GREAT! when i tried to nibble some of it. Yea, the texture was no doubt looked terrible. I went online and did some research to improve the texture of my pancake. XDXD. I should have scooped some of it instead of pouring everything into a pan and i should flip the pancake when i see some bubbles and the edge of the pancake looks cooked.

I'm so going to try it tomorrow again. Hopefully, it will be a success. if it does, i will try to make a healthier pancake by including oatmeal into it.

  2. LOL! Haha~ Ya, you should put one scoop at one time. I think I told you that rite? Nope?

Ben, all you need are those main ingredients mentioned by Kuen.
    For one person serving:
    3-4 table spoon of flour
    1 Egg
1 or 2 bananas (up to your preference)

Just mix flour and an egg together with milk. Add the milk to the batter until it becomes like paint. Make sure it is not too sticky. Just like paint then its enough. And make sure you don't add too much of milk if not it will not turn out to become pancake when you fry it. LOL. Lastly, add bananas into the batter and beat till everything is smashed in the mixture. When everything is done, just fry on the nonstick pan without oil! =)*If your pan is not nonstick, then you have to fry with oil.*
