Twilight

Phew.. Finally! i have finished it after reading it for 2 days. honestly, i was shocked when i looked at the book. it is thick! Normally it takes me ages to finish them UNLESS the plot really catchy, for sure i can finish them in a few days. (hahaha...perasannya). well, i don't want to disappoint my friend for i have promised her that i will return to her in tuesday. guess i did keep my promise (lol)

okay, what do i feel about this book? hm....it's kind of draggy and less suspense. the author concerns more on romance rather than conflict.sorryla for those who are number one fan for this book. the beginning of the book is not bad, i guess that was the reason why i can reach until 72 pages in a glimpse (chehwah...) unfortunately, once it reached the center of the book, there are a lot of draggy elements. the hero (Edward) keeps on asking the heroin (Bella) a lot of questions and vice versa. it seems quite boring to me. i have to confess i have stopped for a while at this part because i didn't feel like keep on reading the book.

however, i have to admit that i was intrigued by those questions asked by the Bella. this is because it is how i know how Edward and his family become vampires. all with different background stories. it really caught my attention for this part. once again my attention was caught during the hunting part by James, the hunter ( another vampire).

this part goes really well except the climax. i was rather disappointed, i supposed. the author didn't really concentrate on the fighting scene of vampire against vampire. this is the contradict of what the author had described about the hunter (James). previously, the author portrayed him as a very strong, powerful and mean vampire that never let his prey goes of easily. however, the author just end the story by saying that James was being killed by Emmentt and Jasper (Edward's brothers). yea, a bit disappointment here. hahaha.

besides that, i think the author has forgotten about Victoria (James's partner) who has been helping James to hunt down his prey. till now i have no idea of what happened to her. (???) of course there are some of the parts that i like. Especially when the author describes about Edward's family and his enormous wonderful mansion. seriously, those are the things that i had often imagined of so far and the good vampires that Edward's family portrayed.yea..it's a happy ending. something seem impossible to achieve yet it's a good thing that give us hope to look forward into the future. (hahahaha)

Nevertheless, i still prefer Fear Street or anything that related to mystery or murder. speaking of these books, so far, R.L. Stine and Agatha Cristie are my favourite authors. Okay, i don't want to go babbling about my favourite authors. i guess i'm going to make it in my next post, though not sure when. (wink)
